Transfer Stations
City Carting currently owns and operates three volume reduction/recycling facilities that are open to the general public, municipalities and other haulers.
The facilities are state-permitted and operate at the following locations:

Southern Connecticut Recycling, Inc.The Southern Connecticut Recycling facility accepts C&D and bulky waste materials. |

Waste Conversion Technologies, Inc.The Milford facility has onsite rail access and accepts C&D, bulky waste materials, and organic waste. |

City Recycling Inc. This facility accepts MSW, C&D, and recyclable fiber materials. The plant includes a highly mechanized sorting and baling system for paper and cardboard that is sold on the open commodities market. MSW is baled and shipped to landfills. |
